Thousand Islands Residents Facilitated for Homecoming

Thousand Islands Regency provides four boats to transport local residents who want to return to their hometown in Thousand Island area. This service is also given on reverse flow of homecoming.

We serve three routes for homecoming

Thousand Islands Vice Regent, Junaedi mentioned this service is only available for Thousand Island residents. "Those who want to use this service must have Thousand Islands KTP (card identity)," he mentioned, Thursday (5/9).

He explained to provide free boat ride on D-2 of Eid or on Monday (6/3) and D+3 of Eid or Sunday (6/9). Residents can come to their local urban villages for registration from May 12, 2019.

Thousand Islands Regency Law of Management and Employment Section Head, Eko Witarso mentioned to provide four boats for homecoming. Those are Prabu Bahari I, Prabu Bahari II, Prabu Bahari III and mobile integrated service (PTK) boat with total capacity 250 seats. 50 of them will be used for passengers who want to go to Sebira Islands. 

"We serve three routes for homecoming. For safety, each passenger may carry on board not exceeding 5 kilograms in total," he informed.

Those boats serve routes:

Route 1 : Marina Ancol Port - Untung Jawa Island - Lancang Island - Pari Island - Payung Island - Tidung Island

Route 2 : Marina Ancol Port - Pramuk Island - Panggang Island - Kelapa Island - Kelapa Dua Island - Harapan Island

Route 3 : Marina Ancol - Sebira Island
